Stem: crown wide; trunk <20m; twigs yellow, becoming gray, glabrous to hairy; winter buds resinous; Lf: laterally compressed near blade; blade 3-7cm, deltate, margin coarsely scalloped, surfaces yellow-green, glabrous to hairy, often stained milky resin
